Niederegger was established in 1806. Since then, there were 7 Strait family generations in charge.

Niederegger is based in Lübeck, known as a European ˝capital of marzipan˝. They are synonymous for top quality marzipan, best in the world of marzipans. Niederegger uses only ingredients of the highest quality; Mediterranean almonds that are still roasted in traditional cauldrons.

All Niederegger products are produced using only 100 % raw marzipan paste which makes Niederegger unique among marzipan producers.
