Founded as a joint project of local Innsbruck doctor Dr A. Schar and Bozen-based entrepreneur Untertrifaller in 1922, the company began to focus on the production of gluten-free foods in 1981.
They are producing a wide range of gluten-free products from flour and ready-made baking mixtures to various bread, bread substitute and pasta varieties, savoury snacks, sweet treats and frozen products.
