The St Michel galette was created over a century ago. 

Today, this biscuit is still made using the same original recipe developed by the patissier Joseph Grellier in 1905. This unique recipe was the start of a very successful and independent family run business for the Grellier family.

St Michel is a dominant producer of traditional french sponge cakes - madeleines which are enjoyed throughout a world. 

Company operates 8 production sites,  has more than 1600 employees, produces 85 000 tonnes of products and sells more than 350 million packets every year.
