About Bonkulović
Bonkulović, our specialized delicatessen, is situated in Zagreb, in the Centar Kaptol.
The story began in the spring of 2009 when we decided to open a shop for all our food lovers and gourmets, a shop which would measure up to those found in the biggest European capitals. The shop would offer only the best food products, representing absolute excellence from around the world. This very successful project continued to grow, and in 2012 we have significantly expanded the retail space, and with it the range of products. By doing so, we confirmed our dominant position in this particular segment.
The name Bonkulović comes from and old Dalmatian nickname "bonkulović" which means a person who "loves to eat well (and drink well)", while a dictionary of Croatian language compares the word "bonkulović" to words "gourmet" and "gourmand".
Delicatessen Bonkulović is a leading specialized store of food products in Croatia. Recognized as a source of high quality, unique products, Bonkulović is frequently visited by gourmets of Zagreb and the surrounding area.
Being a part of Salvia's portfolio, Bonkulović is a meeting place for representatives and chefs of known Croatian restaurants, hotels and bars. They come looking for unique ingredients to improve and advance their range of products and thus satisfy the most demanding guests (who are often loyal fans of Bonkulović products).

Bonkulović's assortment includes a variety of over 2500 different products, divided into several categories.
The most interesting one and the category that is making us recognizable throughout Croatia is definitely that of deli cold cuts and cheese.
In addition to meat and cheese, we offer some of world's greatest chocolates, large selection of domestic and foreign wines, local and foreign alcoholic beverages, pasta and sauces, spices, biscuits, teas, oils, and many other food categories, as well as some of the best brands of dishes and knives, such as Staub, Mauviel and Kai.
