Fermin Martin and his wife, Victoriana Gomez started this business in 1956. Fermin continues to be a family business, guided by the same values and using the same artisanal methods to produce the highest quality pork products in the world.
The Iberico pig, commonly known as ˝pata negra˝, is the direct descendant of the wild boars who roamed long ago across the Mediterranean. The Dehesa is a Mediterranean forest full of oak trees, herbs and leguminous plants, the perfect habitat for the Iberico pig.
Also known as the ˝Kobe beef of pork˝, because of its intense marbling, flavours and uniqueness, the Fermin Iberico ham is the first authentic Iberico to enter the US market.
