Sushi maki roll

Preparation

  • Put sushi nori sheet on the mat, glossy side down.
  • Put 1/4 of the prepared rice onto nori seaweed, spreading it evenly across the sheet. Leave the edge (approx. 1cm) clean so you can roll up the sushi.
  • Add wasabi paste and cucumber strips (they shouldn't be thicker than 1cm).
  • Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds.
  • Carefully wrap the sushi, helping yourself with the bamboo mat.
  • Cut sushi maki into 6-8 rolls.
  • Sprinkle again with sesame seeds and serve with soy sauce, wasabi paste and Blue Dragon Marinated Ginger.
