French toast sticks

Preparation
- Cut each slice of bread into sticks.
- Mix together the eggs, milk and a pinch of salt in a large bowl.
- Mix together the golden caster sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and put to one side.
- Heat the butter in a large pan over a medium heat.
- Roll the bread sticks in the egg mixture and shake off the excess. Place the sticks in the pan.
- Cook on each side, turning the slices to cook them evenly until golden.
- Roll immediately in the cinnamon sugar mixture and serve.
